Medlab Hamilton offers a 24 hour, seven day service.

Specimens may be delivered to the laboratory between the normal operating hours (Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm) or may be left in the "After Hours Specimen Box", which is adjacent to the foyer door at our Knox Street entrance. Specimens are also collected from the 24 hour medical clinics (Victoria Central Accident & Emergency and Davies Corner) at approximately 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Specimens can be left at one of these clinics for inclusion in our collection, or a special collection will be made on request.

Urgent results are telephoned on request during the day, as the information becomes available.  It is also policy to telephone significant results.
